Radiohead is back at it again with the mass remix project of Reckoner, a super track from In Rainbows. You can go to the remix site to buy the song ’stems’, upload your own version, or vote for your favorite. Radiohead is a band that pushes the boundaries again. This is probably the best idea I have seen in a long time !

Radiohead just released a new video for its song “House of Cards” from the album “In Rainbows”.
No cameras or lights were used. Instead two technologies were used to capture 3D images: Geometric Informatics and Velodyne LIDAR. Geometric Informatics scanning systems produce structured light to capture 3D images at close proximity, while a Velodyne Lidar system that uses multiple lasers is used to capture large environments such as landscapes. In this video, 64 lasers rotating and shooting in a 360 degree radius 900 times per minute produced all the exterior scenes.

Current TV, will broadcast an exclusive commercial free, pre-recorded concert by Radiohead on January 1, 2008 at 12 am, Eastern Standard Time. The performance will be shown simultaneously on the global cable television network and their website www.current.com. This performance will also be webcast on www.radiohead.tv.
Radiohead will play the entirety of their new In Rainbows album, which was released this past October in a groundbreaking way on the Internet where fans could pay as much or as little as they wanted for the new release. Check out Kayceman’s cogent examination of In Rainbows for more details.
