Tapulous has announced two new Tap Tap

Tapulous has announced two new premium versions of its Tap Tap Revenge. Tap Tap Revenge is in the same vein as Guitar Hero, allowing users to play their songs by tapping and shaking their phones. The first version, Tap Tap Dance is a Dance-oriented edition of the game with tracks from well known including Justice, Moby, Daft Punk, Tiesto, and The Chemical Brothers. This new release also introduces a new OpenGL graphics engine as well as some new gameplay elements. Tapulous has also announced a Weezer-branded version of the game called Christmas With Weezer. Bart Decrem (CEO) says that Weezer actually recorded six Christmas songs exclusively for the game which are not currently available for download anywhere else.
So the original version of Tap Tap Revenge will continue to see updates, will stay free and continues to add new music options…

Radiohead is back at it again with the mass remix project of Reckoner, a super track from In Rainbows. You can go to the remix site to buy the song ’stems’, upload your own version, or vote for your favorite. Radiohead is a band that pushes the boundaries again. This is probably the best idea I have seen in a long time !

Nine Inch Nails recidivism !

Another free album from Nine Inch Nails released. This is a part of their new album for free on BitTorrent and via their web site. The rest of the album, the band sold as a $5 download, a $10 double CD. So it’s crazy but the band reportedly pulled in $750,000 in the first three days. Yesterday, NIN released a new single free on Facebook with the promise of a “surprise” today on their web site. That surprise? Their entire new album, The Slip, is available as a free download on nin.com and streaming on iLike.

Paul McCartney signs deal with iTunes for Beatles Catalog

Paul McCartney has signed a $400 million deal, which will see the Beatles back catalog make its way to iTunes, at long last. The Beatles sold over 1 billion records in their first 25 years, absolutely creating a worldwide phenomenon never before seen.
