Computer Friends [Stack the Memory]
Posted by Régis Gaidot | Filed under Discovery, fun
Just in time to get you in that purchasing mood for Black Friday comes a Seagate-sponsored video from the Sniper Twins (above) that looks like something from SNL. Called ‘Computer Friends’ [Stack the Memory], two white rappers sing about the need to upgrade their computers. It’s so bad you can’t stop watching it. And the music is catchy too.

Youtube Live, the live show internet
Posted by Régis Gaidot | Filed under Events, fun
I’ve watched the live streaming for YouTube Live show and it was awesome. For those who don’t know what YouTube Live is “Part concert, part variety show and part party, the event will bring to life many of the amazing videos and talent that YouTube viewers have already made popular.”
Youtube Live is incredible, not only because of the massive amount of entertainment packed into such a short amount of time, the awesome performances of celebrities, but also because of the history that we have witnessed Live. Beardyman performed one of the greatest beat boxing performances ever, it was one of the coolest segments of the event for me.
DJ Mike Relm moved the audience several times with some very cool live made DJ remixes.
Myers contributed to the event by performing one of the best breakdance. The 5 young women that started a singing career from posting their videos on youtube Marie Digby, Lisa Lavie, Mia Rose, Dondria, Esmee Dentres are presented to us followed by a performance of Julia Nunes.
SF Parkour and Soulja boy tell’em made some good performances worth mentioning as well. Akon ended the event with an awesome performance and a some crowd surfing while singing his latest song “Right Now”.
So after all the part event, part party was very entertaining. Hopefully we will see more and more Youtube Live events.

Ocarina for Iphone
Posted by Régis Gaidot | Filed under Discovery
Ocarina is the first musical instrument created for the iPhone. Ocarina is sensitive to your breath, touch and movements, making it even more versatile than the original. Unlike other musical applications, there are no pre-compiled riffs so musicians will find unlimited opportunities for self-expression.
For your information, the Ocarina is an ancient family of instrument (some 12,000 years), and one of the easiest instruments to learn. Find out more about the history of the Ocarina at Wikipedia.
